1. Who is responsible
This policy explains how Foxe Labs LLP ("we", "us"), based in Kerala, India, handles personal data collected through foxelabs.com and our software services. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at support@foxelabs.com.
2. What we collect, and why
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact page, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. It is delivered to our inbox by Resend, our email delivery provider, and used only to reply to you.
Waitlist
Joining a product waitlist stores your email address so we can tell you when the product launches. That's the only thing it's used for, and every email we send includes a way to opt out.
Purchases
Paid plugins are sold through Freemius, the merchant of record. Freemius collects your name, email, billing details, and payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, license details, and order metadata so we can deliver updates and support — we never see or store your card numbers.
Plugin usage data
Our WordPress plugins do not phone home by default. If a plugin offers opt-in usage tracking (via the Freemius SDK), it collects data only after you explicitly allow it, and you can opt out at any time from the plugin's account screen.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy. We use it for aggregate statistics only; we do not use advertising features, and we never sell data to anyone.
Server logs
Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp) for security and debugging. These rotate automatically.
3. Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies for browsing, reading the blog, or using the docs. Cookies come from two places: Google Analytics (measurement) and the Freemius checkout when you make a purchase (session and fraud prevention). You can block cookies in your browser without breaking the site.
4. Who we share data with
We don't sell, rent, or trade personal data. Full stop. Data is shared only with the processors named above — Resend (email delivery), Freemius (checkout and licensing), Google (analytics), and Vercel (hosting) — each bound by its own privacy terms, and each receiving only what its job requires. We would also disclose data if a valid legal order compelled it.
5. How long we keep it
- Contact messages — kept in our inbox as long as needed to handle your request and reasonable follow-ups.
- Waitlist emails — until the launch mails go out or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
- Order and license records — for the life of your license plus what tax law requires us to retain.
- Analytics — per Google Analytics' retention settings, in aggregate form.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise any of these, email support@foxelabs.com — no forms, no hoops. We'll respond within 30 days.
7. Data transfers
Our processors (Vercel, Resend, Freemius, Google) operate globally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Each provider maintains recognized safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children
Our site and products are not directed at children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
When our data practices change — a new tool, a dropped provider — we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be called out on the page itself.
