1. Who we are
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Foxe Labs LLP ("Foxe Labs", "we", "us"), a limited liability partnership based in Kerala, India. They govern your use of foxelabs.com, our documentation, our blog, and the software we publish — including free open-source releases and paid licenses.
By using the site or our software, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or the software.
2. Our products
We ship two kinds of things, and slightly different rules apply to each:
- Open-source software — our WordPress plugins and PHP libraries are released under their own open-source licenses (typically GPL-2.0-or-later for plugins). The license bundled with each project governs how you may use, modify, and redistribute that code. Nothing in these Terms restricts the rights those licenses grant you.
- Paid licenses and add-ons — premium versions, add-ons, and support plans are sold through our checkout partner Freemius, which acts as the merchant of record. A paid license grants you the right to receive updates and support for the covered sites and period you purchased.
Our trading software (expert advisors and trading tools) is sold through the MQL5 Market where listed as live (for example, Gold Scalpel); the MQL5 Market's own purchase terms apply to those sales. Products still in development are available by waitlist only, and product-specific terms will be presented at purchase when they launch.
3. Accounts and license keys
Paid products may require a license key or a Freemius account to activate updates and support. You are responsible for keeping keys confidential. Don't share, resell, or publish license keys, and don't use technical tricks to activate a license on more sites than it covers.
4. Acceptable use
When using our site, software, or support channels, you agree not to:
- break the law, or use our tools to help someone else break it;
- probe, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
- misrepresent our software as your own or strip license and copyright notices where a license requires them;
- use our name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement we haven't given;
- abuse support — we're a small team, and we help everyone in good faith.
5. Purchases, billing, and refunds
Payments are processed by Freemius; we never see or store your card details. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchase cycles. Paid licenses renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date — you can cancel any time from your Freemius account, and cancelling stops future charges without affecting the current period.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy — in short, a 7-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee on paid plugin purchases.
6. Trading software disclaimer
Nothing on this site is financial advice. Our trading tools are software utilities, not investment recommendations. Trading foreign exchange, CFDs, and other leveraged products carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Past performance — including backtests and our own live results — does not guarantee future results. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and for complying with the regulations that apply to you.
7. Intellectual property
The Foxe Labs name, logo, site design, and written content are owned by Foxe Labs LLP. Open-source code is yours to use under its license. Blog posts and documentation may be quoted with attribution and a link; wholesale republishing is not permitted.
8. Warranty disclaimer
Our software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work hard to ship reliable software, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every environment. Always keep backups and test updates on a staging site first.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foxe Labs LLP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost data, or trading losses — arising from your use of the site or software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to paid services if you materially breach these Terms — for example, by sharing license keys or abusing support. Your rights under open-source licenses survive, as those licenses provide.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as our products evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
